While it is our hope that local churches and ministries will come together to help support their own city initiatives, often a 'Father Loves Our City' vision starts with one person who has been impacted by the Father's love and grows from there. The whole emphasis of this outreach is to "Proclaim God's Heart For Each City One Person At A Time". Each city initiative has to start somewhere and by someone, so it might as well begin with you.
In Southend UK , a massive citywide 30+ church outreach began with one housewife who had a vision to share the Father's Love Letter with others. In Hoddesdon , UK , the vision started with one pastor. In Kingman, Arizona it started with one ministry leader. And remember how God even used one reluctant man named Jonah to turn the city of Ninevah upside down! The Bible encourages us not to despise the 'day of small things'. Building An International Network Of Ambassadors of the Father's Love...
Romans 8:19: For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

Ephesians 4:12-13 tells us that the purpose of the five-fold ministry is to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
